Comments from Doug about studying to be a docent at the museum: “Think of the most difficult course you took at Andover and imagine that you had to take it for a full year! That's what the training is like to become an American Museum of Natural History tour guide. The number of hours required (and the constant testing and retesting) are incalculable, but in the end, it is a thrill to be able to share the wonders of the museum’s highlights with everyone.”
